About Us

INTERCHURCH

St. Marks Church belongs to the Church of England Diocese of Blackburn, but on a local level it belongs to 2 particular support groups of Churches:

5ACT (5 Anglican Churches Together) made up of 5 neighbouring Parishes in ‘central’ Blackpool who have signed an agreement to work together for mutual encouragement and support. We hold various social and spiritual events (concerts, outings, meals with guest speakers etc.)

Churches Together in Layton made up of the main Denominations in the area (Anglican, R.C, United Reformed and Methodist).  We hold a Joint Service at 6.30 pm every 4th Sunday at a different Church each month
